IPT Technology develops solutions for inductive power transfer in application areas such as industrial materials handling or electric mobility. The range of services IPT Technology is offering covers development, construction and distribution up to commissioning of appropriate solutions.
Initial activities in the field of inductive power transfer started in 1996 at Wampfler (later Conductix-Wampfler). IPT Technology emerged on January 1st 2014 as a spin-off from Conductix-Wampfler GmbH.
Besides Conductix-Wampfler, the Dutch PROOV B.V. participates in IPT Technology. PROOV B.V. is a specialist in charging infrastructure for buses, taxis and commercial vehicles. The Dutch company is a pioneer in the use of inductive power transfer technology and has already implemented IPT® Charge in projects.

The sharpened focus of activities in inductive power transfer and wireless charging within IPT Technology, will provide additional freedom to serve existing markets adequately, develop new market segments and implement individual customer requirements flexibly.
Based in the south-west of Germany, IPT Technology is located in the heart of Europe. The facilities in Efringen-Kirchen allow IPT Technology to concentrate the entire staff at one location and ensure a close interaction between the different teams such as research, development, production and quality assurance.
